Grace Hopper Interactive Booth
The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is the largest gathering of women technologists in the world and one the best places to recruit top female tech talent. Capital One has had a presence at Grace Hopper for several years but wanted to completely refresh their booth to better match their new recruitment goals.
The Circuit Wall
To compete with the Googles and the Amazons, we knew we had to get people’s attention. We transformed the largest wall of the booth into an eye catching interactive experience.
Attendees choose a technological field they hope to influence and place a sticker on an interactive zone below causing the section to illuminate with a surge of light.
How it works
The wall is divided into six sections, each a different technological field that Capital One specializes in. Every section has several icons representing technologies, products, hobbies and Easter eggs related to the category.
Circuits led down from each section to a corresponding interactive zone. When Attendees place a sticker on the interactive zone it closes the circuit causing a surge of light to briefly illuminate the section. Each of the stickers stay illuminated creating a more eye-catching display as the event continued.

Circuit Pen Maker's Table
While other booths focused on DIY tye-dying and other arts and crafts, Capital One booth attendees could build their own live circuits using aluminum strips, circuit pens, batteries and lights.
